The implementation report of the Bologna process (12 November 2019)
In May 2018, ministers responsible for higher education from 48 European countries in Paris presented a state of play regarding the creation of a European higher education area, better known as the ‘Bologna Process’. In an implementation report, they examined how the Bologna priorities are being achieved in the various Member States.
De Vlor believes in further European dialogue and consultation on quality assurance and a more uniform diploma structure. Based on the data from the implementation report, the Council emphasizes that for the Bologna process a uniform data collection is crucial for evaluation and adjustment. In addition, partner countries must be encouraged to work with ECTS and grade conversion. The Vlor also believes in dialogue and consultation and peer learning on quality assurance and a more uniform diploma structure.
